and actually - what if you don't? this brings me to two ideas.

one. SOMEONE ELSE WILL get it, even if you don't. the world is not big enough, there are too many coincidences. im not special or unique. there's nothing i like that no one else likes.

and the other idea is, even if i referenced a band and you didn't get it, what did i just prove? that i can be original and more obscure than anyone else? what good does that do? who cares? who is reading this right now and finding me to be a FAILURE besides myself? does the idea of me truly being original and liking special, unique things truly make me more of an individual?

or am i just proving myself to be just like all those name dropping hipsters i fucking hate?
